Co-Sponsor Request: S100/A3180 - Expand complete streets approach

Close the loopholes

Currently legislation requires NY State DOT follow a complete streets design approach for projects that receive federal AND state money.

S100/A3180 from Ryan/Barrett removes a loop hole so that the requirement also applies to projects that receive only state OR federal funding. Amazingly we continue to see too many highway only projects in our state, this bill will help incrementally change that.
